Ploughmans

Located in the cultural precinct of Wodonga, Ploughmans is a café, picklery and providore that celebrates the incredible produce of the region by stocking local and regional products on the shelves and using local ingredients in the menu.

The menu uses delicious local and quality ingredients, with most items made in-house, such as the smoked brisket pastrami, duck prosciutto, maple brisket bacon, almond feta and sauerkraut. All ferments, pickles, preserves, sauces and sides are house made, so if something tickles your fancy, you can find it on the providore shelves.

Looking through the shelves, you will find incredible products from surrounding areas in North East Victoria, from the Hume region to the High Country and up to the Alpine region and beyond. With a few sneaky goodies from afar, like real Canadian maple syrup and traditional Portuguese canned sardines, as well as house-made staples such as Ploughmans famous crispy chilli oil, jams, pickles and chutneys.

Enjoy a meal or a sweet local pastry and coffee using locally roasted beans. Then meander across to Hyphen’s gallery and exhibition space or watch a show at the Cube Theatre.
