Warmly welcoming to all delegates attending The Australian Freshwater Sciences Conference 2024 to Albury Wodonga, Monday 2 to Friday 6 December, 2024.
The 2024 conference will be based at the Albury Entertainment Centre. Delegates will enjoy dinner at La Maison and also at the Woodfired Pizza Ovens at Hovell Tree Park.
Everything is an easy stroll between venues and our array of accommodation options with free parking close to the conference venue.

How to get to Albury Wodonga
Situated on the New South Wales and Victorian border, Albury Wodonga has a major regional airport and easy road and rail access from Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra. V/Line and NSW TrainLink have a number of daily train and bus services connecting Albury with New South Wales and Victorian locations. For those flying, direct flights depart Melbourne and Sydney daily. Find out more here.

Gain an insight into Albury’s unique past at the LibraryMuseum then walk the steps to the iconic War Memorial where the beautiful view is your reward.
Setting aside some time to visit the Murray Art Museum Albury (MAMA) is a must while shopping in the CBD where chic boutiques and major chain retailers shine bright.
Grab a coffee from the River Deck Café and enjoy a walk beside the mighty Murray River to wet your appetite as you prepare a walk along the beautiful Yindyamarra Sculpture Trail.
