MOB is a celebration of the local Aboriginal culture and history, using cultural objects found within the museum collection – some of which have never been on display before. This exhibition dives deep into the cultural objects that the museum hold, the stories that have been recorded and the history that has unfolded within the local Albury area. You’ll find stories of hope, stories of grief, stories of resilience, and stories of an ancient living and breathing culture and community.

Albury Library Museum acknowledges that it sits upon the land of the Wiradjuri people, we pay respects to the Elders of the past, present and future. The Elders hold the stories, culture and history of their people and foster a deep and unbreaking connection to this Country. The Wiradjuri people never ceded sovereignty of this land, always was always will be Aboriginal land.
