Join Martins Travel Group Albury on a trip through history on the ‘The Shearing the Rams Trail’ North of the Murray.
Stops include ‘Corowa Saleyards’, where you can experience an authentic country sheep auction.
Corowa Visitor Information Centre. The knowledgeable staff will chat with you about the local region, Tom Roberts and his iconic Australian painting and the key points of interest surrounding Tom Robert’s visit.
Corowa Federation Museum where you will explore Corowa’s history and its role in the birth of the Federation. The friendly museum staff will also chat with you more detail about Tom’s painting and you can even have your picture taken with a ram.
Lunch will be at Corowa Whisky and Chocolate which is set in a 1920’s flour mill full of history and delights.
Lowesdale and the ‘Shearing of the Ram’ sculpture. Working with the children of the small public school, local artist Andrew Whitehead created this sculpture using salvaged metal, see how many Aussie animals are hidden in the sculpture.
